The Breezy Beginner’s Sampler Quilt contains 13 traditional quilt blocks set in either a standard layout or an on-point layout.

This is truly a Beginner’s Quilt as the first 10 blocks are no more complicated than creating half-square triangles. The remaining three blocks up the complexity level a little. The quilt blocks finish at 12″ square and are based on a 3×3 grid, which means they are made up of 3 rows and 3 columns resulting in large pieces.

This 70-page booklet is broken down into several major sections including: about the quilt, fabric requirements, beginner’s lessons, tutorials for half-square and quarter-square triangles, the 13 quilt blocks, assembling the quilt top and an appendix for the on-point layout. Detailed photo tutorials are provided throughout.

This booklet does not include instructions for finishing your quilt top into a completed quilt.

This quilt was originally taught on-line in weekly tutorials by Michele Foster. The beginner’s lessons and block tutorials have been compiled into a complete booklet that is available for sale and immediate download as a PDF file.
